New Year, New Brand - Tweed Valley Bikes team up with Nukeproof!

We’re excited to announce that we’re kicking off 2021 with a new bike brand to add to our portfolio - Nukeproof Bikes! 

Devoted to supplying you with what we truly believe to be the best products on the market, Nukeproof certainly fits the bill here, offering some incredible bikes at very competitive prices. It’s not just about bikes though - this prestige brand also offers a wide range of components and superb apparel which we’ll have available from our shop in Innerleithen, and, our online shop to serve those of you living further afield too. 

The first bike to arrive with us is this stunning Nukeproof Mega Carbon 290 in Bullet Grey - and what a bike it is! 

Built with Nukeproof’s ‘Elite’ spec, you get a massive amount of bike for your money - a Fox 36 Performance Elite Series fork with Grip2 damper, and Fox Performance Float X2 shock, not to mention the componentry. With a full Shimano SLX drivetrain and Shimano’s 4 pot SLX brakes paired with 203mm and 180mm rotors, this impressive workhorse won’t be short of stopping power. To top it off, this particular Mega 290 comes complete with DT Swiss wheels, Michelin Wild Enduro tyres and Nukeproof’s own Horizon cockpit - it really is ready to ride out the box, and all for £4349.99!

Our team have been testing the Nirvana packable jacket and the Blackline Trail Pants recently, and just love some of the jersey’s Nukeproof offers too. Following on from Nukeproof’s unbeatable value for money and performance with their bikes, this also crosses over to their clothing range. Their breathable year round Blackline Trail Pants come in at only £80.00 and come with a DWR finish to shrug off light rain showers and mud spray from the trail too. The Nirvana jacket is also a great lightweight shell and packs down small to easily fit in a waist pack or small rucksack too - and that’s just some of the clothing we’ll have available.
