Tweed Valley Bikes Open a Service Centre in Peebles

Tweed Valley Bikes Service Centre Peebles

Tweed Valley Bikes are excited to announce we are adding a new Service Centre in Cavalry Park, Peebles to sit alongside our existing shop on Innerleithen High Street. The new Tweed Valley Bikes Service Centre will provide support for all cyclists looking for spare parts and repairs and will see us launch new maintenance classes for all levels with Dirt School, our coaching and educational partners.

Tweed Valley Bikes Service Centre will replace the existing Fall Line Cycles which will close its doors on Saturday, March 6 and reopen in two weeks as Tweed Valley Bikes Service Centre. Nic Jenkins, Fall Line Cycles owner and highly respected Tweed Valley mechanic, will join our team to head up our Service Centre operation. Nic will keep us at the forefront of bike and e-bike servicing, new maintenance class delivery and begin developing a new suspension tuning and servicing project for Tweed Valley Bikes.

Nic said: “I’m very excited to join such a highly motivated, dynamic team and I’m looking forward to all we can achieve together. Teaching maintenance classes is something I’m passionate about; working alongside Dirt School is an added bonus on top of what’s going to be an inspiring and varied role as Service Centre Manager.”

Tweed Valley Bikes and Dirt School Managing Director, Janey Kennedy, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming Nic to the team, he’s a very well known and respected mechanic who’s been in the trade for over 20 years - he certainly knows his stuff and adds a huge amount of value and expertise to the servicing side of our business.”

The new Service Centre will give us the opportunity to cater to Peebles-based riders and increase our capacity, allowing us to get you back out on your bike as quickly as possible.

Our maintenance classes will teach riders everything from safety checks and basic trailside repairs to setting up and adjusting drivetrain and brakes, how to check for wear and tear, understanding suspension set up and much more. Dates for our first classes will be released in the next few weeks.

Tweed Valley Bikes will honour all bookings already taken by Fall Line Cycles and we’ll be in touch with all customers directly with more details..

We’re planning to open in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye on our Tweed Valley Bikes and Dirt School social media accounts for updates; we’re very much looking forward to seeing you all in Peebles in the near future!
