About the Vala
Arguably the best riding full power E-Bike ever made, the Vala combines a 160mm fork with 150mm of Horst link driven rear travel to create an impressively easy to ride and well rounded full power E-Bike. It's more than a year now since it was first launched, yet for our money it is still top of the heap when it comes to the all rounders.
Unusually light for its category at just over 21kg, and exceptionally well balanced it corners, pumps and unweights effortlessly with handling that can rival an enduro mountain bike. Fun to ride on easy trails, yet burly enough to tackle truly technical ground, it is an exceptional jack of all trades and could easily be the only bike you'll ever need for many riders.
Drives comes from the incredibly reliable and well modulated Bosch Gen 5 CX motor, and a 600W internal battery. A supremely drag free and efficient system, it's the favourite of many and the motor to go for if range, ride feel and long days out rather than maximum speed are your top priorities. It's not exactly lacking in power either, with a current max output of 100Nm and 750 watts in Turbo. The Vala is also compatible with the Bosch Powermore Range Extender, which adds another 250W of battery capacity for the really long days out.
