Combining the high pivot suspension that has made Forbidden bikes the force they are on the world cup race circuit and THE in demand E-Bike motor in the DJI Avinox, the Druid CorE is everything you might want from a modern hard riding E-Bike.
Light and compact, the Avinox motor punches out a huge 110Nm of torque and 800W of sustained power, and having ridden the bike on the local trails ourselves, it's quite astonishing what it's happy to climb up. Not only is it powerful but with an 800W battery on board it also has the range to back up the power.
When it's time to descend, a Rock Shox Zeb fork and Vivid shock deliver 160/150mm of travel, which coupled to Forbidden's high pivot layout and a mixed wheel setup makes for a very formidable bike indeed. The rest of the build kit is specced to keep up with that punishment with Maven brakes, a mechanical T-Type drivetrain and stout Race Face wheels and Maxxis tires.
