NSR-Racing is a Tasmania based suspension tuning centre run by ex World Cup mechanic Nigel Reeve. Nigel has worked with numerous world cup racers including Stevie Smith, Troy Brosnan and Mark Wallace. The numbers speak for themselves. Since 2013 in World Cup Downhill Nigel has helped riders achieve seven World Cup victories, 28 podiums, and a further 22 top ten finishes. Meanwhile with the Enduro athletes he's supported we’ve seen seven wins, 13 podium places and a further 40 top ten finishes.
NSR-Racing is the result of over 15 years of technical experience working at the elite level of mountain bike racing. Bringing together a wealth of technical knowledge covering suspension engineering and tuning, bike geometry, data analysis, and race engineering.
NSR-Racing’s high performance damper tuning is based on their D Arc concept. The goal is to provide a firm, well supported ride that enhances grip and generates rider confidence.

All upgrades are normally carried out at the time of service, total prices listed below include our standard service charge which includes replacement seals (£125.00), our fitting and custom tuning charge (£70.00), and the price of the upgrade kit (£180.00 - £200.00).

A new NSR high flow main piston replaces the stock one, all shim stacks replaced with new custom shim stacks to suit your bike, weight and riding style.
A new NSR high flow rebound piston replaces the stock one, all shim stacks replaced with new custom shim stacks to suit your bike, weight and riding style. Charger 2.1 gets some further custom compression parts to increase flow and reduce pressure loss. Charger 2.1 forks have 12 HSC clicks rather than the stock 4 for more accurate adjustments.
They may well make you faster! You can expect the following improvements which will add to rider confidence and reduce fatigue; this almost always results in an increase in speed for the same perceived exertion.
Not necessarily, if you are comfortable removing the damper from your fork, you can just ship the damper to us for upgrading. It is recommended to have the fork fully serviced at the time of upgrading though, which we can do for you at the same time.
Yes, unless your shock is brand new it has to be completely stripped to fit the NSR high performance upgrade kit, we will always replace all seals and oil during this procedure.
We'll still need to take your new shock apart as we would during a service to fit the upgrade kit, however, as we don't need to replace your seals when the shock is brand new the service cost will be reduced to £100.00 (normally £125.00).
