About the Bullit
One of the best long travel E-Bikes ever produced, the Bullit combines a 170mm fork with 170mm of Horst link driven rear travel to produce a bike that loves speed and can be ridden down just about anything. We're one year into the Bullit now since it originally launched and it would be fair to say we are loving it more than ever here with Neil into it so much he's currently riding one as his main long travel bike.
Light for a big E-bike at just over 22kg with strong tires, the Bullit is an absolute monster when supplied with a diet of gravity fed trails. The combination of that light & well balanced weight and an exceptional suspension design mean that it pumps and accelerates unusually well for an E-Bike of its travel and it's at home everywhere from natural tech to flat out bike park style riding. The geometry is near perfect, slack and low, with a stable rear centre, but avoiding extremes on any measurement. That makes for an easy to ride bike which requires little learning and means it works well in a wide variety of trails.
Drives comes from the incredibly reliable and well modulated Bosch Gen 5 CX motor, and a 600W internal battery. A supremely drag free and efficient system, it's the favourite of many and the motor to go for if range, ride feel and long days out rather than maximum speed are your top priorities. It's not exactly lacking in power either, with a current max output of 100Nm and 750 watts in Turbo. The Bullit is also compatible with the Bosch Powermore Range Extender, which adds another 250W of battery capacity for the really long days out.
The XT Di2 version here is easily the most downhill oriented Bullit so far, taking the already super capable bike and adding the 'degrees of freedom' floating free hub, Fox Podium Fork and DHX2 Factory Coil to take an already brilliant bike to an even higher level.
