The Trail Lightweight Jacket from Rapha packs a lot of useful features into a lightweight, windproof and water repellent garment.
Many jackets are able to be packed down into their chest pockets, however Rapha have taken things a step further and integrated a frame strap into the jacket meaning that, once packed down, the jacket can be stored on the frame making riding packless on mixed weather days comfortable.
An abrasive resistant fabric is used throughout and, paired with the excellent mechanical stretch in the fabric, gives the jacket great tear resistance. The fabric has a coating of Durable Water Repellent (DWR) to give it water repellency which doesn’t hinder the jacket’s breathability or its lightweight, packable, feel.
As with all Rapha kit, if you do manage to tear your jacket, Rapha will repair it for free under their Rapha Repairs programme.
