The upside down fork has been something of a Holy Grail in mountain bike suspension for decades now, with lower unsprung mass and constantly lubricating seals promising better, plusher, longer lasting performance. Up till now however, no one has ever hit on the right mix of stiffness, weight and suspension performance. All that has changed with the new Podium.
Incredibly stiff fore-aft thanks to oversized 37mm upper tubes, it delivers incredible composure and support through chunky ground, both on and off the brakes letting you ride harder and with more confidence than ever before. Carbon guards protect the lower stanchions and the new Grip X2 damper allows enormous tuning potential. Bushing overlap is a massive 32% larger than the 38 and the Glidecore airspring decouples the air spring from the stanchion to make sure that even the largest impacts are binding free.
