Nukeproof Launch Limited Edition Frames

Today marks the release of a very special set of frames from Nukeproof; a limited edition run of Mega and Giga frames, each fitted with a boutique rear shock from either PUSH, FAST or EXT, and sporting a matching paint job to go with each shock. 

Choosing, sizing and tuning an aftermarket shock can be a big job, luckily Nukeproof have done all the leg work for you, speccing these limited edition frames with top of the range suspension. For the first time you can pick from three boutique suspension units on your choice of frame. Each shock has been custom tuned for either the Mega or Giga frame to give a noticeable performance increase over the stock suspension.

FAST suspension is a French company, making everything in house at their factory in Plestan. The Fenix EVO is their Enduro race shock, making use of independently adjustable low and medium speed compression damping and a dedicated high speed compression piston. This gives the Fenix excellent adjustability with no carry over between compression circuits, meaning a few clicks on low speed won’t affect the medium or high Speed circuits. A climb switch built into the shock body tunes out pedal bob on the way up for another lap.  

The EXT Racing Shox Storia LOK V3 is hand assembled at EXT’s factory in Italy and has become synonymous with high end aftermarket suspension. Featuring high and low speed compression adjustment and low speed rebound, as well as EXT’s LOK climbing platform, the Storia offers enough adjustability to get the ideal setup for your riding style. Hydraulic Bottom-out Control (HBC) is built into the Storia, coming into effect in the last 15% of travel to resist bottom out before a rubber bumper is needed. This allows EXT to use a thinner bottom out bumper and means riders get more usable travel from their shock. 

Colorado based PUSH, like FAST and EXT, manufacture everything themselves in-house. Unique to PUSH though is their Dual Overhead Compression Valves. In essence this system gives you two setups which can be swapped between at the flick of a switch. Want a super plush and supple setup for enduro trails and a firmer setup for mellow flowy tracks? With the ElevenSix you can have both and change between them on the fly. 

With their custom tuned, top of the range suspension these limited edition frames will bring more traction and control to what are already two incredibly capable bikes.
